You don't need to remove entire housing for fuel filter. Just unscrew screw at the bottom, let fuel drain then undo the bottom part.

I put a carrier bag around the oil filter and then unscrewed the final couple of threads, it worked well for me- make sure you use on with no holes.

Great step by step tutorial👍... However there is no need to remove fuel filter casing. Handy drain plug on the bottom

I think he just did it so he could show you more close up with it been removed. Always makes it that little easier aswell i suppose. Bit fiddly just unscrewing underneath.

Your interiour filter is placed in this video in an opposite direction if you compare it to the old filter. Very good video

Filter manufacturers print names and part numbers in differing orientations on the sides of their cabin filters but there is always an arrow denoting the direction of the airflow...in this case it is downwards.

you are really professional i followed as you advised and everything went well..! TOP 1,000,000 Like only it does not reset the remaining oil life, it remains the same percentage that is 40%. is there a particular procedure ...? thank you for your reply

Hi there. There is no special procedure for DPF. In this cars sometimes happens that you have to try for couple times to reset the oil remaining life. It will work for sure ;) Regards CG team ;)

You don't need to take the whole tray out to access the oil sump plug, there is a panel in the centre that has 4 x 1/4 turn screws, it then folds forward out of the way for the sump to be drained.

@@bruce.wayne1086 I accessed mine with a jack and axle stands, it's pretty bendy so I didn't have a problem. I secured it with a bit of tape to the bumper while I worked on the car

You don't need to unscrew the whole under plate there are 4 Phillip head screws that you can loosen for the oil drain plug

Should you not fill filter housing with fuel once you have replaced it, I always do as it is best practice and it helps with priming.

You dont need to pull the cover off for the polenta filter it will pop off from the front. If you have the nightmare hayfever change it before the season starts.

Fuel filter can be drained by filter cap screw certainly dont need to undo the pipes etc

Ottimo video, io possiedo una opel zafira 2.0 Diesel 96KW (130cv), come componenti e posizione mi sembra identica alla vettura nel video. Quindi è possibile che il filtro carburante lo porti anche a me dietro attaccato al serbatoio ? Dove hai comprate quelle pedane per sollevare la vettura ? Sono molto più comode dei tradizionali cavalletti . Grazie di tutto

not really, my brother's 1.7 CDTI has got oil filter on top of the engine, behind the top plastic cover of the engine. But you should be able to find everything after brief inspection :D just be careful with the oil drain plug, the oil pan is always on the right side of the car. If you find drain plug on the left, there is good chance that you're looking at transmission drain plug :)

Hi there, i use 5w30 with GM dexos 2 norm (low SAPS). In this video i was talking about how to refill the fuel filter. In this car with this engine all you have to is turn on ignition switch for couple times. Fuel pump in fuel tank will start pumping the fuel to fuel system and will fill up the fuel filter. Oil filter use a piece of cardboard and make it into a v shape and let it drain that way down into a container!
