3:58 to your point of pre-filling oil filters have you seen all the pathways through the oil pan on a 6.7 before oil gets to the block and heads? Dave’s auto goes over it in one of his rebuilds and it’s something like 8-10 seconds before that engine see’s oil in the top end even on hot start. He adds a provision so the oil doesn’t drain back out of the passage ways in the oil pan. He said he rebuilds a lot of 6.7 powerstroke engines from lack of lubricity engine oil not getting where it’s needed for 10 or more seconds.
