VP small engine oil SAE 30/10W30 oil works great in this engine too.

I read in the documentation that you measure the fill level without screwing in the plug. It also appears to show this in the diagram you included. What do you think?

Ahh I can see what you mean. I usually just fill it until it's about halfway up the threads, or you can just do what the diagram shows. I guarantee as long as the oil is over halfway up the threads you will be fine. I have ran it lower than that without problems. Thanks for the comment

Alright i'm sorry but i'm not very good with motors and stuff, trying my best to learn lol. Anyways, i have a couple of dumb questions, how often would you recommend to change the oil? Also does the engine burn the oil? or how does it 'lose' oil. Sorry XD. Awesome video man, i'm loving my 212 so far.

Depends how hard you use it and how long and often it’s used. I use mine once a week 45 minutes a week at a set rpm that doesn’t change and given that I change oil twice a year with fully synthetic oil once winter once summer.

@@lukasbekcic oil may be burnt if the piston rings are worn or if the valve guides and seals are worn

All 4 strokes use oil. And oil evaporates also

All predator 212s take 16 ounces or 473 ml or 2 cups whatever your using to measure as long as it’s equivalent to 16 ounces and fill it up till the oil reaches the last few threads where the dipstick threads into
