i put two 2x4 down and pushed down on the shock worked like a charm didn't use clamps either not a fan of scratching anything.

I heard that putting the spacer in before the spring works better than to have it on top

Great video. I’m assuming bigger springs for heavier guy. Wouldn’t you want heavier oil weight along with dampening rod’s?

Got a crf125f is this the same process for changing the springs out as your 110?

I changed the front springs on my crf125fb. A canning jar lid magnet works well to get the washer out. A wire coat hanger with a hook on the end works well to pull the springs out. My rear shock came apart differently than this video so my dealer charged me $30 to swap it out once I removed it from the bike.
