i am unable to change in all the methods. though i am entering the password i type always to unlock my laptop, it is showing incorrect password, even if i type my MS account password, it is saying incorrect. i dont know what other password i should type or why it is saying incorrect password even if i types it without mistakes

I would ask Microsoft to stop asking people to change their passwords. IF the decision has been made that this is unnecessary, and that people should change these passwords themselves, then Microsoft should simply confirm that. No need to tell anybody to change his or her password. Things are never going to work for anyone that way. You do not tell another person to change his or her password.

in the accounts tab , scroll down to Additional settings , turn off “For improved Security, only allow…” and then restart your machine . when you go back to that settings tab , you’ll have the Change Password option available .
