Good content just to add before taking the retaining bolt out fully.. use it to push the lamp out a little saves all the wiggling..also mine has 4 screws to remove once light is out to change the Rear/Brake light…easy job takes 5 minutes and saves $$$$

Thanks for this video. A tip I've seen for removal of the outer housings is to use one of those plastic panel removal tools and work the pinned end with that and then the housings come right out. No worries about breaking/cracking the pins

Excellent demonstration! There’s only on thing to improve and that’s not even related to you, but the video quality has some weird thing in which the graphics behave oddly (look at your bright gloves that show some black glitches when they are moving in the picture). Really odd.

This video only shows how to change out the REVERSE light for B8. The signal and brake light itself on the B8.5 is all LED and the ENTIRE unit has to be replaced. Still a good video for the B8 owners.

8V got thise two plastic holders comming directly in opposite direction, A4 got is sideways. 8V would be harder to take out, but shaking may pass the test there too :) Are you looking to change your lights any time?

@@GetJobDoneofficial No I am not, just thought might as well collect the info just in case :) Maybe in the future, quite like playing with electronics and some cool custom lights can be done nowadays with LED.
