Followed step by step. Had to pause alot through the ap/csc part. But I switched from XAC to XAR. I can now gain access to some features I couldn't even force before( like I did with the ECG and BP widgets), eg; stress widget etc. Very helpful. Thanks a bunch. It may seem like a daunting task for some, but it does work.

Was nervous going into this but just watch the video carefully and do as he says and it worked perfectly for me. I bought an Australian model that actually turned out to be a UAE/XSG so samsung pay wouldn't work. Luckily this video came up in my recommended list, youtube got something right for once. Another silver lining is when replying to messages with voice it would keep telling you to change language to default, no longer does this now. Thanks very much

Hi @TechnoProz I did you process in the past and worked, I changed my region to US and all fine. I now did the same to change to SM-R850 BTU (UK) and all installs, but when trying to do software update on the mobile it never installs, always give an error. Are you able to help

I'm moving in 4 months and am wondering if you change region from "A" to "B" now, and want to later change it from region "B" to "C" later, would you have to do the entire set of steps or could you just start from editing the "csc-active-customer.inf" and "prodcode.dat" files when you need to change the region the second time? I have one question about this, can i upgrade the Firmware of the device later without making it go bad? Like if i insert the Spanish region and then the device has to be updated with a newer one, can the Watch download it without going back to the previous region?

Worked. Great with the 45mm watch. From Canada there's no blood Oxygen, and that's what I wanted. (Many people in Canada just return these, so you can pick them up at at $80-120 discount online) After the following the video, I had to reconnect to my phone again and I lost my previous settings. Then I was asked to update my firmware which I did and I had blood Oxygen feature working. This is a little tricky but video does have all the steps even if goes fast. I've worked in firmware before so I'm familiar with this type of update. Here are my tips running from windows 10: Unzip everything before you begin, including the rar files. You may need to go into the directory after the first unzip and make sure all the files here are also unzipped. I used '7-zip' for this. When you connect to the watch on Wi-Fi select the properties in the Wi-Fi connected screen and make sure its a private connection. In the last step you need to load 3 files from the "Stock Firmware" in NetOdin. They are in the 'Stock Firmware*' directory. Just match the starting letters of the file name to the NetOdin options (AP -> AP, BL -> BL CSC -> CSC)

march 2021.. this method still works.. i just did on my 41mm galaxy3 watch change region from egypt to malaysia. now samsung pay works.. just want to add in the sdb folder you need to click install.bat and before running ansicon, you need to click sdb-run.bat Works for me. thank you for the tutorial

at minute 2.03 the watch 3 appears in the networks for the flash of the combined sign, in my networks the watch does not come out following the video to the letter why?

Whenever I run ansicon and try the sdb connect code it will say server not running, then start a server, then try to connect and fail. I have tried it on a wiki network and my mobiles hotspot with the same problem.

After following your instruction in October 2020, until now, the watch never has any update. Seems like it loses the ability to do software update. Is this the case? any workaround?

How do I reset my watch back to factory defaults? I've tried uploading original firmware and resetting via reboot menu. No matter what I do those two files i changed on the phone never change. I have to manually change them to my desired CSC. How do i revert the watch back to factory where it sets those CSC codes for me?

For the combination software I notice the file type you select is md5. However the one within the link provided is .7z file which is not recognized by the odin software? So I am assuming the software in your link is not correct for the galaxy watch3? Do I therefore have to download one of the SM-R840 files from the site you link to? If this is the case do I just select the most recent of those combination files or are they region specific?

Dear technoproz.. I tried the 1st step on using my watch( galaxy 3) SM-R840 as hotspot, and inserted the combination file but it failed and my watch had error (error upgrade firmware , use kies recovery). Can u please explain if i can skip the 1st step ?

I stupidly saved the combination firmware download as a notepad file and even though I've deleted it and re-downloaded it still downloads as a notepad file. Is there anyway I can change this? Thanks

Hi, everything worked fine for me until the point of connecting SDB to the network. the connection fails. I verified the IP by successfully pinging it. I suspected that the default port 26101 is blocked so I turned both firewall and antivirus off but it didn't help, so now I'm stuck. I've also verified debugging mode is ON. any Ideas?

It works, the process is pretty long, don't get afraid when you see red text after flashig combinaton files, just wait for the watch to boot up. Follow the instructions in the video and it should work. PS: like I said if it works I will donate and I did :-). Thank you.

its weird i dont get access to ECG and BP, I live in Tijuana Mexico, right on the border to San Diego California, i installed the XAR version but maybe my phone as it is registered in Mexico Region thats whats stopping me to use the ECF AND BP, I managed to make the ECG work on with your other tutorial but not BP nor Samsung Pay

Only issue I ran into was very last step - flashing stock BL, AP and CSC, it failed, watch error message was to restore in Kies, but last step repeated and second time flash complete, no issue anymore. I cant find combination firmware for gear s2 r720. I found one zip file but when i unzip it. I just see folders and files. There is no tar or md5 files. What can do? Pls help.

How do you determine which combination file you need to download from easy-firmware.com? Mine is SM-R850XXU1BTH4 with no Samsung Pay.

Just to add an issue when the connection with the watch gets a connection fail 110 code shown on the watch. I had to disable the firewall in windows for the connection as it was setup as a public network and the MSD firewall was on. Turned that off an it worked.

I have a SM-R840 with R840XXU1ATF3 (the only countries i can select are south america). I did the whole procedure using the files downloaded from your drive, it was successful. But when I restarted the watch everything was as before (without samsung pay) and with selectable countries in south america. My region is Italy and I wrote ITV
