Perfect, my door r/h speaker has started flapping and buzzing , i have a new speaker but worried about door card removal, I'll tackle it now after watching this

Thanks for this video. I wouldn’t have tackled the door speaker replacement in my 2012 S5 without it. Or if I did I certainly wouldn’t have finished it so quickly. My car, maybe because it’s a cabrio, had a couple of differences (Torx bolt placement) but overall it was much like yours. Thanks again!

Hey bud, great video. Than you for posting. If I may suggest an upgrade as the factory spkrs are truly junk. I picked up some entry level JL audio factory replacement spkrs and some adapter rings from AliExpress - sounds way better. It was pretty easy to do

I had this happen to both of my front speakers as they r only paper material so I fitted pioneer ones with a better material for the speaker

That's a good idea, I just replaced with oem but if it goes again I might look at an alternative

What size are the 5 Torx screws are holding the door panel on? What kind of screws are holding the speaker in? (or bolts if not screws)

I am not sure to be honest mate, the garage that I bought the car from supplied me with the new speaker. You can find then on ebay I don't think they are to expensive.

I bought a set for front door b&o, off eBay it cost me $160. The modelcode of the of the front door speakers are universal for lots of audi models, actually. The code is: 8T0035415B Good luck 👍🏼
