very helpful, i bought a pink joycon with stripped screws that i just could not get out, eventually gave up and just broke the backplate, moved everything over to my grey shell and it still read as grey so thankyou again for this.

I'm busy trying this right now, and for some reason when I disconnect the right Joy-con to do the left one, it still shows that I'm doing the right one. I connected my previous two (my now old ones that I kinda needed to replace pretty badly...) to my computer before, but I removed them prior to starting this. That and its still showing as neon red instead of the now light blue color.

bro, the software doesnt work with my controllers and i dont know what it could be, im using my original joycons and everything and it doesnt work, i connect my controller with the PC and the error keeps showing, any idea what it could be?

I keep getting an error 13 every time I try to do a Backup of the SPI, and it prevents me from trying to change to body and buttons. Is there any one else who has experienced this error, and were they able to resolve it?
