In this video I explain how to easily change the air filter in your Tesla Model 3 or Tesla Model Y. I made it as simple and as straight to the point as possible, so I hope you enjoy.
This is a simple maintenance that should be done about every year for your Tesla. If you live in a hot climate, it should be done more often if you are cranking the air conditioning all summer, like me in Las Vegas. If you start smelling a “wet sock” smell, or a vinegar smell - it’s time.

Have you seen the videos by Adam Davenport (channel name also)? He goes way into diagnosing and trying different fixes for the smell issue.

My 1988 Model 3 has that tiny screw at the top. I am happy to see the improved screw location!

Some models get water in from the HVAC and that is the problem. The filters get wet and that is why you get mildew. There are fixes for that if you google. Now I see you want to sell stuff so never mind :)

What’s the fix, besides turning off recirculating air?
