At how many hours should the first final drive oil change be completed?

Hi Joshua! The initial final drive oil change is done at 250 hrs. Then it is done at every 500 hr mark (500, 1000, 1500, etc.). The owner’s manual, located behind the seat, is a great reference for maintenance intervals for your machine.

@@catconstructiontrade why couldn't you just use the center hole as a fill mark and fill from there after you've put the bottom plug back in, instead of starting it up and moving it when there isn't any fluid in it?

Hi Bryan! We recommend following the process as outline in the owner’s manual for your specific machine. The approximate refill capacity for the final drive on a Cat Compact Track Loader is 1 liter (or 0.26 US gallons). Thanks for asking!
