Isn't the design of the grip rail flawed, in that it is doomed to fail? Couldn't we replace it with something a little stronger?

my passenger side went out I have been thinking about either gluing it or do this I don't want to do all this

I can make this much simpler. Forget the two screws in the inside of the door panel. Not required. Just the two that actually hold the handle to the door there’s no taking the panel off. And only two screwed that go through the handle to the steel door frame. I did it the videos way. Took well over an hour of fiddling. Other side took 5 minutes

So you dont have to take the whole panel off?

@@eduardschneider1552 I didn’t. The two little screws in back of panel had pulled through. There was no need to remove mine as the panel was broken

@@marvinmartinsYT i don't get it the top is just a cover how did yours break? it seems like you ned to get the "base" handle out and replace the cover might be salvageable no?
