You can change the line type scale of an individual element by selecting it and altering the LTS value in the "properties" of that item. When you've selected the item, do a right click and then select "properties" from the pop up menu. This is useful if you want to use different LTS for different parts of your drawing. By using the "LTS" command on the command line, you will alter the LTS in a global way across every item in the drawing.
