Changing the engine oil and filter on your Polaris Ranger 900 & 1000 is the single most important job you can do to ensure your Ranger stays running smoothly for years to come. Knowing how to do the job yourself is also a great way to get familiarized with your machine while saving money and time over taking it to a shop. In this video, Charles shows the proper steps to change the engine oil and filter on a 2015 Polaris Ranger 900 XP, but the process shown will be similar for 2013+ Polaris Ranger 900 and 1000 models.

We used Bel-Ray ATV & SXS Synthetic 5W-50 oil for this machine.

At 1:04 we say you will need a 6mm hex bit.
