It's always easier to do japa with the mala in yourself। Instead of carrying another mala। Also rudraksh malas become very personalised once u wear it।

I did it consistently for 10-12 days after that I started skipping the kriya and start doing it whenever I feel to start again that goes for some weeks and then again a gap and so on. রুদ্রাক্ষ মালা বাঁধার একটা specific process ache। Tate একজীবনে ওই মালার সুত ছেরেনা। প্রত্যেকটা বিড এর মাঝে একটা করে গিঁট বানাতে হয়। This also brings little space between two beads and that helps in moving the beads while japa counting of 108. I had done this with the Isha rudraksha mala as it mostly contains more than 108 beads n are held loose। There are jewellery makers in Kolkata who are experts in this। All my grand mom's malas taken from Her Gurudev are made with intermittent geet this way and are more than 50years old।
