Great video! I must do mine. Was there any metallic bits in the oil. Probably think there is a magnet in the gearbox to catch any. Was the gearbox quieter after the change? What was the price difference between the liqui moli and Toyota oil? Also, I read a tip once to just make sure you can open the filler nut before draining the oil so you won't get stranded.

there was no metal shavings in the oil🤞🏼🤞🏼and you can also tell how healthy your gearbox is by the oils colour-if the oil is dark🤯. my oil was fine, and to be fair I haven’t noticed a significant difference but at least my mind is at ease knowing that I have new oil in my gearbox😀 I paid £25 for liqui moli whereas the Toyota one would have been over £50 and I did undo the filler cap whilst the old oil was draining to help the old oil clear out. Regards and good luck!

Can you please tell me from where did you get the oil pump? Thanks

just eBay, but wouldn’t necessarily recommend as it is painfully slow

Hi there, no not yet but according to other KZfaq videos there is a method to wind the electric motors back😃

@sCARs20 check your owners manual pls. My avensis is also 2013 model but it didn't come with the owners manual.

there’s an online owners manual which is free but it won’t tell you how to wind the electronic handbrake motors, but I have seen it on KZfaq for other types of Toyota which should work
