Entirely correct! And for my particular cameras there is no remove device in the home app, and these are google cameras wired. Pretty ridiculous that I have to pull out a ladder to do a hard reset.

And after many many tests, I was not able to add my cameras with projector by choosing this model. Need to choose battery one even though I have a wired one! Thanks to this video !!

I hope google see my comment. Thanks for making what should be a simple process, the most difficult, irritating, frustrating, thing. I am getting rid of all of my google cameras as a result of the unnecessary hassle of resting your product.

So basically, I've got to pull ladders out, climb up the damn thing, all to hit the reset buttons and re-install these from scratch. Because the password on my wifi changed???? WTF!?!

Ok after going through this mess. Pro Tip: Grab the 6 digit code, below the QR code, off of your camera BEFORE installing it. If you need to reconfigure the WiFi connection to your camera use the nest app and in the camera WiFi setup choose “Continue without scanning” and enter the 6 digit code you saved!! Learned the hard way👎

WTF that is so stupid that you basically have to factory reset and reconfigure all of your cameras from scratch if you reset your wifi password. Why can't this just be done over Bluetooth and then all done? Google, stop being a dip shit.

So far I only have one of the 5 up. kzfaq.infoUgkxOXxsTZ3ptV_Pk0fFl8bNZvVqeoqBQFwe My son ran out of time, with motion detector etc. I have it over my garage door. It works great. Have seen a couple of cats, my dogs, when I am out front. And had a bee buzzing around right in front of it. It works very well. It even shows the neighbour's driveway, but only shows movement just past my own, which is very long. I highly recommend them.

Not too fast. It's a video that can be slowed or sped up. I found the speed perfect as default with no BS intro or waiting Massive thumbs up. Except it didn't work.

I’m sure you’ve figured it out by now since your comment is a year old. If you don’t have a QR code then there is a code at the bottom that you put in. The light needs to be blue when you’re trying to connect to it. If you previously connected the device, you need to factory reset it by holding down the rest button. There is a small hole in the back of the camera where you can put a small paper clip (I used a staple) and push it down until the lights go off. Then it will turn back on and go from white to blue

you can find a code on the camera at the AC hole, to use, in replace of the QR code. I hope it will help.

Nope. Google is a very unethical company and is shafting all customers who use Nest cameras. April 2024 Google is discontinuing the nest app permanently. All dropcam and dropcam pros will be rendered worthless and unusable.

Fucking bullshit, I will never reccomend someone to buy Nestcams then you need to demount the cameras AND maunt plate to be able to change the damn wifi.. One of my worst buys now afterwards 😵💫
