Watched several other video's, but none of them actually showed taking out the bulb, so I wasn't sure if I should put pressure anywhere. Your video is clear enough so I can now replace the bulb, thanks! :)

Thanks for this. I removed the whole lamp assembly as by unscrewing the two torx screws either side of the middle one, which holds a plastic plate to set the alignment correctly, and then easing the assembly forward. My problem was the old bulb (H7 dipped beam) was stuck in the holder. Your video gave me the confidence to use a sligh amount of force to work it out of the holder.

Just replaced the H7 Bulb on the nearside light which is more easily accessible than the offside, & I didn't need to remove anything like the wheel-arch. The problem I had was; in doing it by feel I did not realise I was trying to put the light arrangement back upside down! Might sound rudimentary but I advise anyone to make sure that the square lug points downward!!! Could have saved myself about an hour. As soon as I realised my mistake it slotted in & turned easily, btw you can see the bulb through the light facia to help guide into place. Video definitely a help nonetheless, thanks.

This actually helped me i was at a dealer and 5 people couldn't figure out how to release the old globe, one of the stupid salesman touched my new globe when I took it out to show them. Seriously youtube is the way to go these days. Oh and btw its for a toyota made in germany parts, figure that one out, no toyota video was helpful other than this VW one.. LoL

There should be more videos like this. I tried to change light for 1.5h after video 10 min it was done. It was raining and dark. I know its simple but for people who dont know anything about it its hard.

I find it much easier to the actual headlight out from the car instead of the wheel arch, but oh well I suppose it's just preference.

Dude I have a really big problem. I have a vw polo 6r 2011 model with h4 headlight which is absolutely shit . Can I change the headlights with h7 like yours which is with 2 bulbs each headlight?
