Too bad ur stake pools are almost full due the sundea swap. Dedoulus takes forever unfortunetly to sync up. Kinda new to this space but ur channel seems like a cool entry point to everything i need to know about Cardano and such.

Regarding Redelegating…. I want to know how to handle rewards in old pool when Redelegating to new pool…. First: do I withdraw the rewards from the old pool before initiating the withdrawal? Second: Where are the rewards for the old pool deposited for the two epochs that the old pool continues to earn rewards? Third: How do I handle the fee message upon withdrawing the rewards from the old pool? Yes or No?

No you dont have to claim when moving pool as the rewards are connected to your wallet and not the pool. All rewards continue to go to your wallet after redelegating. If the message is about deregistering your stake key you select no as you want to continue staking

I joined the wrong stake pool with an ADALITE WALLET. I then joined another stake pool and funded my YOROI wallet. I can not delegate my account in the Yoroi, I think because I can only delegate 1 ADA POOL. How can I end my delegation and deactivate the account and the ADALITE wallet?

How can I delete an empty ADALITE wallet from a Pool. I accidently signed up for the wrong pool delegate. I have another YOROI wallet set up and funded with the correct pool delegate that I want but I can not complete my new delegation?

I've been googling this without success - if I want to stop delegating and not re-delegate, how do I do it? There is no immediately obvious place to do this (iOS or Chrome) on Yoroi. Thanks

When you go to claim rewards in Yoroi you will get a pop up asking do you want to deregister your stake key. If you want to stop staking you select de-register

Yep anything you send to a wallet that is already delegated will be auto staked for you

I have a small amount of Cardano, Im concerned that what little I have will be chewed up by fees, any thought on this!

The only fee you have to pay is the 2.17 ADA to stake initially and the 2 ADA will be given back to you when you undelegated. With the stakepool fees they are taken out of the total pool rewards and then the remainder is split between delegators so the 340 and variable are not paid by you. I joined my first stake pool, and I wont be able to participate until 3-4 epochs. It appears the stake pool is approaching saturation point. If I redelegate to another pool, will I have to restart in the waiting period?

@@kenji4659 If you are due rewards from the first pool you will still get them while you are waiting to start getting rewards in the new pool. Generally when you are already receiving rewards you dont miss any payouts when you switch as you still earn rewards from the old pool while waiting to start in the new one. If you need a pool thats not saturated mine (PAUL) is still well under saturation

Hi Paul, I am currently delegated to your paul1 stake pool. Thank you for all the knowledge that you share. At the moment, I have delegated all the ADA that I had in my Yoroi wallet to the stake pool. Is there a way in Yoroi web that I can undelegate some of my ADA from the existing stake pool in the current condition and just keep it in Yoroi without delegating it to any stake pool? If so, how do we do this?

No with Cardano you stake everything in your wallet but as there is no lock you are still able to move it out at any time you want

I have a question, the fee for the redelegation is taken from the same stake your trying to redelegate? or do u need a second wallet not delegated with suficients funds for the fee?

i tried to delegate my ADA on Daedalus and got into a pool, but i found a better pool but I couldnt undelegate my ADA, i looked it up and the only way was to send your ADA to another wallet on another exchange, i have done that now but would i get into trouble because i staked 180 ada and now i have pulled it out from that staking pool to another wallet... is it gonna cancel itself or whats gonna happen now, could you please reply. thanks

Seemed Ike everything stopped for me. I waited 20 days and started receiving rewards. I switched pools after about 1 month. It has been a few weeks, and my rewards are the same. They haven't moved. Waste of time. I have 505 Delegated. Was is going in. Thinking of switching pools again.

Depends on the pool you are in. Some smaller pools wont get rewards every epoch so that could be why you are missing some. Check your pool on adapools to see if they have been producing rewards

I stacked 100 ADA as a test and it worked well. Then I sent to my Yoroi wallet the rest of my coins, and they have been added to the stack automatically... What's the point of making me sign a 100 ADA delegation only to add the rest of them to the pool without my consent ? It's not very clear to me... At all. Anyone to explain ? Thanks

Fixed fee is taken from the overall pool rewards and not from any individual delegator. When you stop staking you get back the 2 ADA deposit you paid

That is to withdraw the staking rewards into your main wallet as when you earn them they sit in a different part of your wallet

When you withdraw rewards you will be asked if you want to deregister your stake key. If you do that it will undelegated your wallet. With Cardano you don't even need to undelegate to move your funds as there is no lock

No you will be still earning in your old pool while waiting to earn in your new pool

Cardano doesn't lock your coins so you are free to move them out of your wallet at any time you want

Paul, Do you know if the meld ispo pools will act as a normal pool and stop or lower rewards when over saturated? I got into the 5th one thinking it was safe but it's up to 85% I don't want to swap and miss rewards due to the transition nor do I want to say and not get rewards due to oversaturation. Any idea about this? Your help would be appreciated 🙏🙂

I there another way to un-delegate my stake pool since the Daedalus wallet removed this option. I can't do a wallet restore with the Yoroi wallet because my 24 recovery seeds are not correct even though I wrote them down and took a picture of it. I don't know where I made a mistake when I created the wallet. Any help is appreciated. 👍

Can I transfer my ADA to my ledger if I am staking? Or do remove it and then send it to my ledger nano x.

There is no lock so you can send your funds at any time. If the ledger is a new wallet you will need to delegate from it as well

The 2 ada is one time and stays in the network, once you undelegate you will get it back

Thanks for being in the pool Chris. If your wallet is already staked then anything new you add will be auto staked for you so no need to do anything else

Wow, I have been looking for an answer to my problem for DAYS and you have almost answered it. My ADA is held in Yoroi (not on legder) but I am trying to delegate to a new pool that is not saturated and EVERY SINGLE TIME I have tried to do it, I get that exact same error message. I have tried probably... 13 times in the last week and always the same message. I have reached out to Emurgo team but so far they haven't gotten back to me. So this message is common and there's really nothing that can be done? I'm just stuck in my saturated pool until..........??

Sorry to hear that. If you have your seed phrase you could restore the wallet in Daedalus. Also check to make sure you have the latest version of the yoroi plugin in case that is causing any issues

No the rewards are a part of your wallet from the day you earn them so you dont need to claim before moving

No you wont miss any rewards, you will still be earning rewards from your old pool while you wait to get paid out your first reward from your new pool. If you change now you will still earn in your current pool for this epoch and the next one, the following one will be your first earning epoch with your new pool

Most pools will average out to the 5% APY, some epochs will be good and some not as good but generally average out. I go through some of them in this video - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/odmUiaRimtPJeKs.html My pool is also PAUL if you want to choose it :)

They should have already been showing in your total before you claimed them as even before you claimed them they were in your wallet just a different part to your main hold

You can move it at any time as there is no lock with Cardano staking. Just go to the send tab and send wherever you want

Depends on your wallet. Daedalus auto withdraws them when you send a transaction while something like Yoroi you need to click the withdraw button to claim them. They are auto staked for you even when you dont claim them

Everything always stays in your Daedalus even when you are staking. With Cardano staking there is no lock and you can move your funds at any time as they always stay in your own wallet. Currently Daedalus dont have the undelegate feature integrated. You will need to restore your wallet in Yoroi if you want to undelegate and reclaim the 2 ADA deposit you paid to the network when you started

It will be 20 days before you get paid a reward from your new pool but during that time you still earn in your old pool

Thank you. If we break $1 this month then the old ATH should follow soon. At that point I will see how the market is moving and set some targets there.

In Yoroi when you claim rewards you have the option to deregister your stake key. The option isn't in Daedalus yet but there is no lock so you dont have to undelegate to move your funds out

Hi Paul, I have delegated a small portion of my ADAs to a pool, received my first reward and then I switched to another pool and increased the delegated amount signficantly. Now it seems that I keep receiving small rewards from the first pool. Is this normal? When can I expect to receive higher rewards based on the new amount of ADAs that I delegated? Thanks so much

If i want to change the amount i delegated will it allow that for instance if i delegated 400 ADA and I Just got 200 more can i add it to the new pool ?
