I gotta 2016 charger rt and did the steps but it didn’t change mileage, reset battery and let it sit for a little and still no change . I have the forscan obd , do you think I need to order the one you linked in description for it to work?

The MX+ is the one I have. There might be some other ones that would work but as of right now the MX+ is the one I use

This just shows that people should check the mileage listed in the other control modules before buying a vehicle. Make sure all the stored mileage in all locations is the same.

Yes. I totally agree. I just made this for people doing the cluster swap because I know a lot of people ask how to get the new cluster’s mileage to be their own mileage. But you’re totally right!

@@jessesouls69 you need a tool that can read all the modules in the vehicle. For German vehicles I use a Carli or OBD11.

I have a 2023 Chrysler 300 with an “auto” headlamp switch. I want to change it to an older switch with an actual “off” position Can you change settings for this with alpha obd because straight switch swap doesn’t work

You might be able to? I know you can enable fog lights, but I’m not fully so sure about this

I’ve tried couple times and leaving it for an hour and it still doesn’t want to change does it need to be in cluster swap mode etc first before this works or can I do this before I get the tazer?

Well you need the tazer for cluster swap mode anyways so you’d have to get that. You should be able to change the mileage without the tazer tho

I tried the blue veepeak today and it connects and acts like it’s going to change the mileage but doesn’t change it on the cluster. It reboots and says continental and the mileage doesn’t change. I’ll try the other interface you mentioned.

Yeah I was gonna say some people had good luck with the veekpeak but I got the mx+ because the app is also good as well

I only know of alfa obd working with fiat mopar vehicles. Don’t think it supports any other models, just strictly the fiat family. There might be something similar to this, but alfa is FCA

The reason people change mileage is when they get a new cluster either from a swap or their old one broke. That’s why I made the video. I don’t support people who try to scam other people by changing the mileage.
