Informative video! I always change filters every 30 days for years, but when the pandemic hit, the 20×25×1, was very hard to find. Just this year I was able to find 4 in a pack and you can tell the difference.

Good video, but most others say to turn off the AC system and to let it cool briefly before doing the filter replacement. Not sure how much that matters or not, but wanted to mention that.

Um... depending on how dusty your filter is... you might consider leaving the unit off while removing the old one. Don't want that sucked up into your system, that's why there is a filter.

To place this filer in the ceiling is the most idiotic thing there is. Filters need to be changed every 4-5-6 months. You need to drag in your latter from the garage, beat everything up with it while you are dragging it. If your ceiling is higher, like 10 feet, you can't even drag the latter in (if you are a woman) because is so heavy. Crazy. How the hell an older person will change the filter. Climbing latter may not be the best. Since the air filter must be changed as often then it should be much more accessible. Like it used to be. Builders always find a cheeper and cheeper way to build homes. This thing shouldn't be one they mess with. Plus, to have this filter in the ceiling anywhere is outright ugly.
