Opening the oil cap on top let's air in as the oil leaves the bottom so you don't get the *glug glug* thing going on and making a mess.

My cover plate is long gone, probably some 5 minute oil change place. Do you have the terrible rattle on cold start yet? Liked and subscribed!

@@hardatwork mine is a 2012 with 124K, yes, not every cold start. There’s a spring in the cam gear that loses pressure and doesn’t hold the oil. Check out CVT.

did you back off the ramps with engine on and no oil? 😀 im always paranoid i'll do that.

No I just put it in neutral. I didn’t turn the engine on. That wouldn’t be good lol
