Why are there all these dumb videos showing you how to change the pitch? Anyone playing with the software for two minutes figures that out. I need to change my voice to a realistic non-chipmunk sounding female for animations. I'd also like to change my voice to multiple different realistic sounding voices and I know there must be a way to do that, but I can't find it just playing around with the software. Anyone know of any good guides for that?

Rachel Gerrard yes because there are more / less sound waves per second so the frequency increases if it’s sped up and or decreases if slowed down. The higher the frequency, the closer the waves and the higher pitch you hear

Great tutorial Alex, thanks for that. I was wondering whether there's an effect to change over-modulated voice sound. I managed to lower the volume but the light blue part, I was told it's modulation, not sure it's the right term, so, the voice still sounds too loud, it was recorded with the speaker's volume too high, I suspect.

is their a way to make your voice sound raspy in audacity or to make you voice either sound like a celeb or like a techique you may have implimented in a previous section that you would like to impliment somewhere else( that may be harmful for your voice if you did it naturally) or is their a way to sound much older or younger then you are with effects. This is just a few suggestions you could try. Or maybe even a more dramatic voice lowering effect either in audacity or other since any time someone goes more than a little lower in audacity it sounds like Darth Vader.
