When I first get this remote, I plug it in to the USB-C and a charge block overnight to get it charged up and then since then I just turned it upside down with the solar panel lot and it’s worked

It doesn’t come with a charging block and you need a USB-C cable so to charge it the first time you want to plug it in and use your Apple blocks and USB-C

One of the best remotes I've used. The one issue that to charge it with type-c you need some spesific charger with some spesific amount of W. Cuz if I plug the regular charger from my Samsung phone. The red diod is blinking.

I use my iPhone block to charge it and I left it overnight and I haven’t had to charge it since I just turned it over and let the solar panel suck in light from the light on the table and it worked perfect

using the USB-C chord, how will I know if the remote is fully charged and for that matter, how would I know if I have overcharged it - unless that's not possible(?)

When I first got the TV what I did was plug it in overnight and then from that point on I’ve just left it solar panel up and it’s worked fine

Yes, the new remotes with the smart TVs take a while to get used to. They try to make them simpler once you get used to them you will like it though is it less to think about good luck thanks for watching

I've had my Samsung smart tv for four months with the solar remote and every night before turning in, I put the remote solar panel up to my table light that is on all night and the battery power is still at 100%. When I bought the Samsung tv, I fully charged the remote with my phone charger cable, and the remote has been at 100% charged since I bought the tv. So, I give the Samsung smart TV and solar panel remote a 10 out of 10.

Yes, so far we have not had to charge it. I just leave it upside down with the solar panel facing the room and it gets enough light just from the lamps to charge it.

To tell the truth, I’ve been leaving it underneath our lamp with the solar panel up for the last month or two and haven’t plugged it into the USB-C so I will have to try to check that out and see if there is and get back to you

Yes- there is a small red light on front face, right at top ( beside the power button) that lights up when it’s charging via the cable. Not sure about the solar mode

Thank you for the tips! We’ve had ours for two years now and for the first time the tv screen displayed a low battery message. Plugged it in and from now on I’ll leave the remote upside down.

Yep solar panel up and it charges. We have not had to charge ours since we got it. It’s crazy works pretty good merry Christmas Christmas.

Does the USB c cable come with the TV because I never saw one in my box. Trying in the sun but after 2 hours the red indicator light goes on and tv requests to charge with cable.

Yes, you’re going to need a USB-C cable. They don’t provide one when you purchase it. You need to charge it the first time you get it and then I just leave ours underneath the lamp and it stayed charged ever since.

How do you know when is fully charged? I am charging it with the USB port cos' it was dead when I tried to turn on the TV it didn't work so I think the battery of the controller is 0% is a little weird because we don't use the TV to much 😐

Whenever you lay it down, you wanna make sure that the solar panel is up so that it will charge. Otherwise we have to put it on the USB-C and the charging block. Good luck. Thanks for watching.

You can use the block that you plug into the wall but you will need a USB to USB-C cord

When you’re facing the TV on your right side corner, there are some controls underneath where you can turn it on so that you can use it. You may need to get a new remote from Samsung or you could also try downloading an app to create a remote on your phone.

Help please , my remote doesnt charge at all, at all .. like solar , direct sunlight , usb c it blinks like 3 to 5 times and no light indicater that it is charging it looks like its suppose to be a steady red light meaning its charging but nothing help please

Check your USB-C cable and make sure it’s good. Also check your block to make sure it’s good. I plugged mine in and left it plugged in overnight and then I just leave it solar panel up under a light that seems to work fine.

No charger or charging block. You’ll need a USB-C cable and a charging block to charge their remote the first time you could use your phones.

the solar part is easy to break, better get a USB-C cable, my solar was not charging at all after I have used half an year even I put under the sun or light.

When you first get it, you want to charge it with the USB-C overnight then just leave it with the solar panel up anywhere neural source and you should be good. Good luck happy new year.

You can turn it upside down in direct sunlight, so that the solar panel is facing up and that should charge it if not use a USB-C and a charge back

Place it solar panel up in the sunlight. When it gets charged up some the usb charging should work again as well.

Ours is always flat. We leave it panel side up. Its flat. We leave it plugged in to power source. Its flat. Its always flat. I like the simple use and i love the rechargeable idea, it just doesnt work like uts designed to.

Try putting it in direct sunlight solar panel up so that it can charge if that doesn’t work so I get a USB-C into a charge black and plug it into a 110 outlet

Just make sure that your USB-C is plugged in all the way and that you have it in a good block you may have a bad wire or black. I left it overnight the first time and then I just keep it solar panel up under my lamp and stays charged.

Mine went completely dead and wouldn’t charge with usb. I ended up putting it outside in the sun for 30 minutes which brought it back to life. Now when I plug it into usb, the red light lights up instead of faintly flickering. I hope this helps.

@@XxSypherxX91 I think when you first get the remote you need to plug it in to the USB-C and I think you’re going to need your own charging block and let it sit overnight and power up really good and then all I’ve done is left it underneath the light with the solar panel app, and it seems to charge I have not had to charge it again on the plug. What happens when the battery fails?! Because that is a fact, all batteries fail, no matter where or how. So?! Do you buy a new remote?! And to be happy about it not having replaceable batteries, holly molly. And besides, this is no remote, this is a silly useless toy. A TV remote control must have a full buttons set for tv functions, not an idiotic minimalistic interface that requires intricate sub menus or using in weird ways existing buttons. This ia a major failure point and bad engineering.

This as been the worst remote I’ve own. It has been giving me issues since day one. I went to Best Buy and they gave me a new one and I’m still having issues with it
