thanks for the video. You wouldn't happen to know how i could charge 1s lipo batteries on this would you? they only have 1 set of wires, so it can check voltage for me, but wont charge.

You will need to get as separate charging board for it, try the Vifly 1S charging board. But if you are looking to charger 1S mainly my suggestion is to get a Vifly Whoopstor 3 much easier to operate

So when you connect your battery to the Charger first you input the power lead not the balance lead?

This is my habit mostly, this is also to prevent the balance lead from frying due to the XT60 potential spark when parallel charging

Never tried the imax, but assume it all does the same thing, balance cells

Is it compatible with both 6S XT60 and 4S XT30 batteries? If so, is any adapter(s) required? Thanks!

The standard ports(2) are only for XT60. For XT30 you will need an adaptor from XT60 to XT30. Or you can purchase a parallel board (Recommend: HGLRC Thor Pro) and use it as a adaptor.

Always set to charge. Charge will balance if balance leads are connected.

Why charge, not balance?

The charger function already has automatic balance function. The balance function is use to actually balance cells if cells are showing different voltage
