I'm going to keep Googling but just in case you answer first how do you charge this Volvo at the Tesla Supercharger are there adapters at the Tesla Chargers or do I have to buy an adapter myself?

You have to buy the adapter first. This is the reason for the adapter, otherwise your Volvo won’t work at the charging stations.

Ummm… no.. are you waiting 30sec till you go to charge?

@@VagabondBuilds turns out the trick was to hold the adapter (gently pushing it upwards) until initialization phase completes. I think the weight of the adapter was causing some connection issues! Thank you :)
