Standardization: Having a standard temperature like 105 degrees Celsius allows for consistency and comparability between different tests and laboratories. It's a temperature that has been established through experience and has shown to work well for a variety of sample types. Complete Evaporation: Moisture balances are designed to provide a controlled environment for moisture removal.
