This is by far the best video I've seen and used. Used this approach today and knocked off 5 strokes off my game. So easy to hit, no chunks or skulls increases your confidence in the short game. I have a 9.1 index and I know I will drop 2 to 3 using this method. 👍👍👍 Thanks so much for the post.

Hey Eric....Kudos! Lota of love and thanks. Picked up golf exactly a year ago. Have seen hundreds of videos but, this is the best in judging distance while chipping and pitching. Yet to try this method, but I'm sure it's going to work. It has actually made life on the course easier and increased my confidence manifold. Thanks again

Very impressed with the presentation being very simplistic and very well communicated. I have good distance and decent enough accuracy to go for par 5 greens in two but do find myself at odd distances when I do miss the green. Can’t wait to implement this strategy after a bit of practice. This makes so much sense I can’t imagine it not improving my game. Will comment again after implementation. Thank you! 2 thumb smashes!!!

The biggest problem for amateur golfers is that they watch far too many videos in search of a cure for their swing.Every instructor claims to have that magic secret mostly patterned after one of the elite pro tour stars. What they forget to tell you is that the average golfer, especially the mid to high handicap player doesn’t possess the athletic ability of a tour player and the entourage of fitness coach , mental coach and support staff to keep them performing. The golf swing is simple and varies from individual to individual but professional instructors tend to make it complicated.

The scapula rotation (backswing) aspect of this is terrific for standardisation. The only issue I'd have with it is restricting the torso rotation on the follow thru even for chips. This torso (and lower body) rotation (though you call it a pitch ) definitely aids strike, direction, trajectory and spin control even for short chips as little as 10 yards. Ie I find I chip my best when I have the scapula rotation back and chest looking at target at finish

I like the video for the first part - so having a landing point per club with the longer chip before it would become a pitch. But I dont get the second part - just being significantly longer and call it a pitch with that little backswing but only more follow-through? This is still not a pitch for me and also harder to manager for a high handicapper. I would suggest to have the first part for some clubs and than having a second (pitch) swing with more hinge and more follow through.
