I learned from The Dominator years ago. My best roll was 26 point numbers back to back without one 7. If I remember right, it was about a 2 hour roll. Maybe 🤔 2-1/2. It really takes much practice. Without it, you will lose. Everyone has bad days. Dom is the best dice controller around for sure.

Thank you Dom I was using the hardway and would 7 out after a few rolls. I realized I was double pitching them. I adjusted my grip and it made a huge difference. I'm now seeing one turn instead of two, for hitting the hard way with no turn.

Softening the flat side landing practice at single pitch on axle numbers with the hard way set helps to have confirmation bias from you is enough for me to learn one way only.I am starting to learn the soft touch 45 degree elbow swing for a new craps player learning this is key. Hey, I love the HW set too. I also like using the 6/1 axis with the sixes kissing. Same result if only one die goes off axis. If you put a 5/2 on top and 3/3 facing you only two double pitch 7’s no single pitch 7’s but two primary hit 7’s. The key is keeping at least one die on axis. I don’t know if the dominator will actually read this. But I’d like to thank him and Frank for those awesome books they did together. You two are my hero’s. Your books and ground breaking work on dice control is legendary. You two along with the writings of the mad professor and Stanford Won gave me what was needed to develop the skill. Hey Dom, thanks for these vids! You really have given me that little edge that comes in handy more times than not! I don't now if I'll ever make over to Vegas cuz I'm in CT but if I ever do, I'll be hitting you up for lessons! I find it crazy that you don't have more views on these vids cuz I always see guys, both young and old, using your form at the tables here. Anyways, just wanted to let you know that I firmly believe in your form because it's actually based on mathematics and physics, not stupid superstitious rituals I see every time I play. My best roll was around 30 using your form, but I have a lot to work on still before I'm as good as you Dom. And to all you guys bashing this, just stop and think about how if you were to actually perfect this form, it might actually give you that minimum 1% edge needed to tip the scales in your favor. In the end, that's all it takes to beat the house.

Best advice I’ve ever received.

Not trying to discredit this in anyway but I’ve had a good bit of success holding the dice for extended periods using the all 7s set. My theory is that since the dealer is gonna make you hit the back wall, when you set all 7s you take away 4 of the ways to make a 7 when they hit the wall and randomize. Using this method I throw a lot of 2, 3, 5, 9, and 10s and some 8s. Rarely 6,4,11or 7. Random thought.

One thing that can not be overlooked is the number of fours and tens this set produces especially if the shooter gets one die off axis.

So this is crazy. I started learning how to play craps and game across this channel and didn't know who tf this was until last night a documentary came on from there 90s/ early 2000s and found out this is the Dominator and best dice thrower along with Frank Scoblete.

I dont know but I did practice my dice throw for about a month and I noticed I was the best shooter at a other wise cold table. I didnt break the bank but I was able to hold my own as a shooter.

Also you tell us about the five count. I like to see the table roll a few times before I ride with anyone but me. This way I see what people hit the numbers they constantly roll.. who throws what numbers more often

Just reached a point where I understand u Don & finally agree. Was using the 2V set over the hardway. Yet I tend to Single pitch & Yaw either R or L. So the Hardway 5/1 5/1. In practice sessions has my SSR: 17 vs 2V SSR: 8

It depends on the shooter. You should practice all sets and throw the dice exactly the same way and land the same way. One dice set might work better for someone else based on your style of throw. In testing the 5454 hardway set out of 90 throws was rated. Each number was broken down. The 7s were 18 times. The 4s only 5 times the 10s 5 tomes the 5s 7 times the 9s 7 times. The 6s were 10 times and 8s 10 times. However the 21 24 two V set out preformed the 5454. The 7s threw 10 times the 4s increased to 7 times the 10s increased to 7 times the 5s increased to 10 and the 9s to 10. So for me the 2V is my dice set because I only bet the top best paying 4,10,5,9

I used the hardway set and won all my money back from using the 6-4 on top..absolutely killed it with the hardway set..finally rolled a 7 out next time I got the dice I rolled 3 times and 7 out again..point to this story I won all my money back and then some using the hardway set..

Dice setting is real. I just got back from Vegas 8 days. I won every night I shoot a 2v and 3v set and go min. 15 rolls if you hit the word pass line you should do well

in my opinion the four sets to have full understanding of are 2V 3V hardway & all 7's and thats because all Crap tables are not equal some hard,some soft,and some inbeteeen for that very reason the dice can show up "consistantly" different its good to play around shooting the dice with table minimum money first until you are sure of two thinhs.One what kind of table you got and two which sets are working best for you.You could find yourself throwing an all 7's set hard in the corner to find out that by throwing slightly hard a seven never shows up....A rule for thumb for me is to never assume or underestimate the table be aware and assume every possibility once youve narrowed down what appears to be as close to.a sure thing as possible then you can start betting.Me i perfer an Iorn Cross ten rolls and im out.

A few more days and I'll be in Vegas. I've bumped into celebrities and Vanilla Ice of all people, but have yet to see the legend in action or any students throw at the crap table. Maybe one day I'll see the pros in action. I can only hope. ;)

When I roll a 7 out with the Hardway set it usually comes up 6-1 (the numbers along the axis)

You talk about how we should try to keep the dice on axis (perfect throw), yet your video illustrates a throw where one die is on axis, and one die is off axis. If we are practicing for a perfect throw, the 2 dice stay on axis, then a 3-V set only produces two 7's, while the hardway set has for 7's possibilities as long. Can you explain why you are illustrating an off axis throw in your video?

I choose my set based on my point. If the point is four, or ten, im using the 6-1, 3-4 set. 6, or 8, im using the 6-1, 5-2 set. 5, or 9 i use the 5-2, 3-4 set.

there is one way to get a 7 with one flip on both dice using the Hard-way set and that is if both dice turn away from each other as the Seven is kissing between the dice. there is another if the dice turn in to each other but that is highly unlikely. My big problem is double picthing which will kill most dice sets. how can I stop Double Picthing?

If you are on axis and throwing well, the hard way is the best set. If you are a mediocre dice thrower then you will seven out much quicker on a hard way than you will on a 3v in my experience.

Would you give your opinion about using the Hardway Set versus the 4/2-2/4 set (6's on the outside, 1's in the middle (61-16), with 42 on top, 24 facing shooter)? It occurs to me that whether both 1's or 6's are in the middle, or a 1 and 6 from each die is in the middle, and no matter what you have facing up and toward the shooter, it's literally the same combos/probabilities. I personally throw a Hardway Set with the 4's on top, 2's facing me. I just like seeing these numbers. Again, while the combos/probabilities are the same, one thing that makes the 4/2 2/4 set unique compared to the Hardway Set is that a quarter-roll of a die pairs up only two of the four possible ways to roll a 7, while a couple rolls of a die in the Hardway Set pairs up all (the same) four ways to hit a 7 (showing all the way around at one). With that in mind, why wouldn't the 4/2 2/4 set be better? No way would I ever discount the advice I've already heard from you (you're living, documented proof!), but I can't help but think there must be a reason you can share to explain why you use the Hardway Set over the 4/2 2/4. Thanks in advance! :-)

what about hardways vs the 24 42?

I have had trouble using the hardway set with 6's up and 5' facing toward me. I notice when I roll a 7, it most of the time came up 6-1. So I made a radical adjustment of throwing a 6-5 on top with a 5-4 facing me. Much better results - those 6-1's became 6-2s' Plus, our local casino has bouncy surfaces - more bouncier than the ones in Vegas.

A double pitch on a hardway set will produce 4 sets of 7 out; where as a double pitch on a 3V set will only produce 2. And the double pitch is the primary common throwing mistake. An off axis pitch means you truly have to work on your mechanics.

If your going to do the test showing the way each dice set rolls. You need to do it for the same on all dice. Not one way for one set and a different for another to make your point. Your always going to get different outcomes with different standards
