Hi Mike, Thanks for saying your last name "correctly". It's the most similar pronunciation to Mandarin. I hear "Su" often and that's not even close.

It's an easy transition for truck drivers to move over into being a pilot. Because they've already been in commercial transportation . Becoming a pilot is the next step up for a truck driver. Being a pilot is a decent paying blue collar job

I’ve been hearing a lot recently that the easiest way to say American, is to work for a Delta or United regional, or vice versa instead of waiting for the upgrade time. Great video!

Can you talk about the details of maintaining and earning a type rating. How long does it take to earn a type rating? does your employer pay the figure? What if you take like a 2 year break from flying, is the renewal process for the type rating any different than an active pilot? Etc etc etc additional details for the type rating yes. Your content is helpful and fantastic.

Hey!! The type rating never really expires as long as you are current but you do need to go to recurrent training every 12 months. Usually the company will pay for your recurrent training

Most airlines have a monthly minimum. I belive its 75 hours for most. 100 hours max a month per FAA regulation.
