Bought rtx4070 super and bought a 60hz monitor 💀 Found a solution: you can use the dsr factor in nvidia control panel, so you can play 4k resolution in games at a 1080p monitor

General rule of thumb 3060 for 1080p/60 gaming 3070 for 1440p/60 gaming 3080 and above for 4k gaming Applicable to 4000 series also 8k also possible with 80 & 90 but limited.

No bro the problem is not with your tv it's the game. Old games that are made for playstation 4 run on 30fps only. Only few games got 60fps patch from developers only then we can play that select games in 60fps.

A bottleneck is different from a fit , if one is paying extra for a GPU they must also choose a right monitor for utilize the maximum benefit of the GPUs output a 4090 paired.with a 1080p monitor won't do justice. all I'm saying is the value and benefit analyse them to find right split to buy a GPU and a monitor that fits
