Excellent in options analysis. I see that there is a new trend appearing in the emergence and application of "Alaska range" of Granite (It is not Granite but Quartzite, a Metamorphic rock which is filled in any microscope pores etc. I'm also not sure if these a true natural colours found within the earth's crust) Kindly correct me if I'm wrong. I'm sure it cannot match/replace the properties of Black granite as Counter tops, Gate pillars etc.. Though this Alaska collection appears to be replacing the always available traditional colours of granite in Metropolitan cities.

I'm looking to buy light beige marble for my dining table top. Which option should I choose - tiles, granite, or quartz? I need to consider durability and the feasibility of corner polishing.

You may use any for the Saud surface. All 3 are very hard material and not easy to polish. Granite will have lesser options in terms of designs and shades but I see more skilled people to do the job in granite as compared to tiles. Quartz would also be a good option. Tiles, only if you get real skilled guy... - Team OTF

For flooring purpose,Vitrified term are you using for vitrified tiles? Here in Mumbai we have vitrified glossy or vitrified matte... Two varieties only. For kitchen full body vitrified.. They name it!!

Vitrified is not a technically correct term, but used in India and few other countries as synonym to Porcelain tiles. These could be both - glazed as well unglazed. Also, both categories could are made in Matte as well as polished (polished). Problem is faulty communication in the market. Mumbai has latest and all varieties of tiles.
