@Sailing Talia for all those who have a boat for which VAT has not been paid, can you pls make an episode for a winter place outside of EU, i.e. Montenegro, Albania, Tunisia,Turkey. As you might know, after 18 months in the EU, such boats have to spend 6 months outside of EU.

Hello. New to your channel and plan on being on Sicily next month with MDR being on the top of my list. Quick question: I plan on having a folding bike and am wondering how safe it is there bikewise (crime / traffic / dicey roads) and how feasible is it for a healthy person to bike the hill to Ragusa or take a bike the municipal bus? Do they have storage racks on the front of the bus as in some countries? Would it have to be in a bag to go inside the bus with me? Also wondering about local labor rates to get repairs done / quality of the chandelry.

We're planning our live aboard experience at the moment, moved to Greece in August and still hunting our boat! One question I had which you might be able to answer - what do you do for the toilet / grey water during the winter months when you're docked up and not out at sea? Do they have a pump out service here or a pump out boat? Or do you have to use onshore restrooms for the full time you're docked up?

Hi there! Thanks for watching! Yes, the marina offers a pump out service for the grey water tanks. That said, most people opt to use the marina facilities when nature calls. What kind of boat are you looking for? Fingers crossed that you find one soon! Who knows, maybe we'll see you on the water in summer! 😊⛵

@@SailingTalia A trawler, sailing isn't my wife's cup of tea unfortunately, but we've found a happy compromise. Currently surveying an Azimut Magellano 43. Hopefully on the water here in Athens in April. Thanks for the information!

Hi George! Great to hear from you! Thanks for watching and for the feedback! Regarding the winter package dates; for us that price covers from November to the end of April. The marina are somewhat flexible with entry and exit dates for winter, so you might have a bit of wiggle room. Best to give them a call or send an email. Hope this helps! Fair winds 😊⛵
