How to clay plaster - using only your handy tools

Clay plaster and its application on a stone wall. For clay plastering you will need a mixer and a comfortable sized bucket for the mix.
You will need a mason trowel or a plaster hoe to pick up the plaster onto your hawk.
Hawk is a tool you hold your plaster on to pick it up with your plastering trowel.

No fiber added to a clay plaster, No info on the mix, no info on the tools, the title doesn't make sense.

If there is a lot of fiber inside then yes. You can add extra fiber to the plaster.

Depending on clay, it ranges from 1:2 to 1:5 of clay and sand. We use different colored clays and many different sand types and natural fibers to make the best quality clay plasters in Europe.

After the clay plaster dries, can it be considered as a final finish? Or is there an additional process required afterwards?

It can be left like this but usually its finished with colored clay decorative plasters

Just water so the substrate wont suck all the water out the plaster.

Water to make the wall wet so it doesnt suck the water from the plaster straight away.

It is the clay base coat plaster, made with European strongest clay, which is dark red in color. The base coat gives the option to plaster in thicker coats, which helps create a better indoor climate. It is then plastered over with UKU finishing plasters or painted with clay paint.
