I love washing the donkey fabrics. I put the hood clamps on backwards onto the frame so instead of them clipping around the outside of the seat frame I put them on from the inside so it’s much harder for kids to pop them off and they don’t flop out a little as they wear so they look neater :)

Did your basket have hard material inserts? Mine is an older pram and does. Not sure if i should put in the washing machine. Thanks.

Hi, Its my first time to wash my bugaboo seat cover but I’m not sure if I can put this in washing machine since there’s hard thing on the back. I already remove the wood for sitting.

No, I’ve washed many prams and never put any parts in the dryer. You can put inside on an air dryer. Not in a machine dryer

I wouldn’t put any pram fabrics in the dryer. Yes you can put all of the bugaboo stuff in the washing machine. I guess you can put the plastic accessories in the dish washer I just wiped them over.

You take the bum board out of the seat before you wash it.

Any washing liquid, I also use some nappy san powder and some spray on heavy set stains spray if there are any hard to get marks.

This is still relevant in 2023 because Bugaboo have poor instructions on how to clean their prams. Thank you!

The donkey has not changed much in the design from this model to the new models

Do you put the top hard part in the wash as well? The hood?

@@skyestephenson8774 We did and it seems fine. I was concerned it would get damaged but it was OK.

Why pull it all apart .just tack the wood out. Hand wash .And hose down.

I prefer A thorough, wash sometimes when you soap and hose stuff down it does not work as well as a washing Machine and it can be hard to get the soap out. I mean they are totally designed to wash stuff properly so why not use it ahaha

Thank you for this video 🙏🏻 Did you also wash the under seat basket in the washing machine? I’m not sure if the inserts in it are wooden in which case probably not the best idea to put in a washing machine … 🫠

Yeah I have washed 4 donkeys and I put the baskets in the washing machine, I believe it’s corflute which is the plastic cardboard stuff (like for sale signs)
