The best cleaning way : 1. Put cup with warm water. 2. Fill in liquid soap. 3. Turn on shaver and lower the head into cup. 4. Hold for about 30 - 60 seconds and pull out. 5. Rinse shaver under running water. :)

I use my Braun every other day. After each shave, I take the foil off and rinse it and the razor under warm water. Once a week I clean it in the station (after pre-rinsing the foil and shaver so it can sanitize and lubricate. When it's done, I take out the cartridge, put the lid back on and store it. This helps the cleaning solution last longer. )

Love the smell of WD 40 in the morning. My Braun 7 series has been sitting without use for a few years and I can’t believe it still charges. I almost threw it in the garbage because it was so dirty. I cleaned it up and tested it just for fun. I just used it and it works just as good as it did before. I think the machine is 5 to 10 years old. Don’t remember exactly when I bought it. The only thing that doesn’t seem to work is the cleaning station.

close, but the shaver needs to be 100% dry before a drop of machine oil is dropped in the center of each foil, Never WD40 as its bad for the skin, and also evaporates and does not lubricate as light machine oil... the beginning of the video is fine.

I suggest not to use wd40 as it might give irritation or inflammation for some people, instead you can use essential oil which is natural and safe.

Cool thanks. FYI, WD-40 isn't good as a lubricant. It evaporates too quickly. It is good for PENETRATING to unlock seized parts, or for displacing water, but it is NOT good for reducing friction in moving parts (it's better than nothing, but worse than a mineral oil or machine oil).

Once its dirty enough just empty the alcohol out of the container and refile with new alcohol, been doing this for years then your shaver won’t get clogged and dirty like this guys shaver.

You can use dish washing soap or hand wash soap it don't mater but you have to oil it when it's dry ..do not use wd40 it's bad for skin and its bad for blades .use hair clipper oil any hair clipper oil and only use the oil when it's completely dry and always use oil every time u wash your shaver with soap cos soap will dry the oil out

Well, to be fair, WD-40 is a water displacement formula, so it's ideal to put on a wet shaver. The problem is, it's a terrible lubricant, and also bad for the skin. So, you're right that the right move is to let it dry, and add a drop of mineral oil.

Straight from Braun, "Manual cleaning: Rinsing under running hot water Almost every Braun shaver can be rinsed quickly and easily under running hot water. The cleaning effect can be improved by using a bit of standard liquid soap. And another tip: to give your shaver optimal care, you should put a drop of oil on the cutter block once in a while." Use whatever oil you want...or lubricant...or WD40 if you want. Whatever you decide to use you need very little of it. You need so little that I'd wager WD40 wouldn't irritate the skin. But if you're a scaredy cat don't use WD40. Jeez.

You don't turn on an ELECTRIC razor under water! The product's manual literally states not to use under water due to electricity, you are putting yourself at risk of getting shocked

And the fact that it's most likely only 3.7v DC or 7.4v DC tops, means no worries about electrical shock. Just take one hand & place on negative terminal of 12v car battery, and other on positive side.... No shock... It's low voltage DC
