Thanks so much for sharing these instructions -- my KX-MD2030 printer was leaving a blank white line down the length of the page, and following these instructions (including cleaning of the glass pane behind the print drum as noted in this video) has removed that, as well as restoring the print quality to as good as when it was new! There was one detail that is worth sharing, however. After reassembling the second (and final) fuser roller and cover, I did not recall that there are two tabs along the front edge, one on the left and one on the right, that must be reengaged with the receiving holes on this piece when installing this piece before installing the final two screws to secure it. Unfortunately, the screws went in just fine with these tabs not properly aligned and engaged. This improper reassembly caused the print fuser to fail, and the printer was not usable. Disassembling everything and carefully inspecting this final top piece allowed me to rediscover these tabs. To reinsert the tabs into the holes, the rear of this piece must be raised up, then insert the tabs into the holes, and once inserted, lower the rear of this piece back down. The final two screws are then correctly inserted and tightened down. These two front tabs assure that the top fuser roller tightly engages with the lower one, required for the proper operation of the print function. In case anyone else might have this problem, thought I'd share this tip.

simply remove the toner cartridge, remove the old drum then install a new drum and install the toner cartridge. you'll find the instructions in the user manual

May be the sensor of the cover. there should be a sensor where the tab of the cover goes into the machine

difficult to say without seeing the printer. if the problem is related to the scanner only, try to check in the printer folder the settings of the scanner, set the quality on "high".

No, it's a different powder. HP black toner sometime works

Probably a paper sensor is broken or out of posiition.

It could be a problem of the drum unit or the high voltage unit or the connections between the high voltage unit and the main board

Check the toner roller, try to reinstall the drum, remove and reinstall the toner cartridge, check the transfer roller

The room is too cold, move the printer in a warmer room. There could be something wrong with the carriage sensor, or with the modem
