Thank you for this video. After repairs a year ago I picked up my car and noticed it sounded really throaty and drove a bit different under acceleration. Didnt think much of it, during this past year it got a lot worse. I would have to start my car and let it warm up 8-10 mins and even then when you hit the pedal to speed up, it would get really throaty sounding and not really go anywhere, like it lost power when trying to accellerate. I then noticed the black drops coming from the tailpipe, letting me know it was running very rich. I suspected the MAF sensor and got the cleaner and did what you showed here, while I had the air filter out I noticed a previous mechanic popped out the air intake tube going into the air filter box, it was just dangling around and basically blocking / not allowing air into the air filter box. Removed the entire box and tube, reconnected it, duct taped it and put everything including the clean MAF sensor back in. Damn car started and ran like it did years ago. Both this video and your air filter box video were super easy to follow. A+

I'm trying to clean my mass sensor out. I have a 2015 cadillac cts and I see the red little push clip on the bottom and it can be pulled forward in the direction of the windshield or pushed backwards the other way towards the front bumper I guess to lock it. For some reason I'm having a trouble pulling the connector off without forcing it

Yeah I did after a little while and I used the spray on it but I just decided to replace the sensor anyway just to be sure the problem was fixed

Do u know if that little hose coming out the side of the Air Intake is suppose to be a bit loose?

@@FixCarYourself That hose connected to the intake right there next to the MAF. The point where it connects to the air intake is a bit loose on mine. I don't know if thats supposed to be like that or not. Usually hoses shouldn't be loose at connections point but...

It shouldn't be loose. You could wrap a small piece of black electrical tape for a little more reinforcement.
