What about degreasing the brew unit? Where do you put the tabs?

Drop a "Brew unit cleaning tab" into the opening where you add ground coffee - the " cleaning program" should tell you to do so. You can get them on Amazon here amzn.to/37f9Bfl

This is a question I've been asking for two years! No one can tell me, and the video clips are not very useful. The retailer I purchased from told me to put the decreasing tablet into the water - I didn't because Miele shows you to put it in the ground coffee shute. What is the purpose of that? Personally, a massive waste if money 💰 I think I would have been more satisfied with another brand, sadly!

I have a CM7300 machine, just a question about the brew units. I had a few with the red button release and one from Miele with an orange handle, is there a difference in them - some have not got the plastic 'w' chute?...would the original Miele brew unit please stand up!

My CM6150 is now stuck at "Empty Drip tray" even though it is empty. How do I fix this??

I've had the same problem with my CM5000. The problem is the two metal electrodes at the back of the drip tray. If you clean and dry them with a paper or cloth towel the problem should stop. That solves the continual "Empty Drip Tray" problem for me and the machine works fine.

Miele was my first choice and I've added a number of their products to my home - not all work well. The coffee machine is a joke 😂 there's too much water in the coffee grounds, even from day 1. I've tried everything. I painstakingly clean it all the time in vain. Its loud and noisey and quite frankly, I'd probably be less stressed with another brand; such a huge waste of money, really 😢
