In this video I will show you how to clean the Magcubic HY320 projector from dust quickly and easily by yourself.

Hi,The dust-removal service door is under the model sheet sticker and a transparent foil. The square-shaped door has a gap on one edge. It can be popped out with a flat-head screwdriver. The cleaning procedure is similar to that of other projectors.😎💣🆒💀 Thank you very much.

Thats exactly what i was thinking… but can we blow some air through that door so it will clean the dust and spots in the projector???

great video, ill give it a try. Just in a few days it has now crazy dust. When the screen is white. would be great i we could look for a mod to make it better against dust :) At the moment maybe is better to leave the case without the screws and clean it weekly haha

Does blowing up the dust clean it completely? I didn't wanna open all the way and remove the lens, just blow like u did. Does it clean everything? Also, i don't have a blower like yours. Can a use a hairdryer instead?

Yes, the dust blows off completely, I recommend you buy compressed air in a can, it will be the best option.

Would you say that the fan is fairly easy to access? I'm thinking about changing it for a more silent one

If it's quieter, it's a low-power fan, so it will not cool well, and the projector may break

@@binealex well not a slower one but one with less friction like a small noctua, i feel like the one i've got in my projector makes a little bit more noise than just the air blowing

What's the purpose of that little rectangular thingy that receives the connection of that 3-color wiring cable right next to the focus adjust wheel?

This is an External IR receiver for the remote control

This fan is designed by the manufacturer, Yes, it is very loud. For example, in the Hongtop p30 projector, the fan is very quiet.

Is it in all HY320 units, with a few days, there’s dust inside? I see dust on the projection and even cleaning the lens. Still there. I’ve acquired 2 units and the same issue. What about other projectors? Is this issue I’m describing happens to all hy320?

In my practice, the problem with dust occurs very often in cheap projectors; I find dust in the completely new hy320 and hy300, or it appears during operation. Cheap projectors are not very protected from dust, and if the room is dusty, then unfortunately you will have to clean the projector from time to time, this cannot be avoided.

You can't clean the projector 100% through the window, you still need to disassemble it

I have this little projector in the bedroom, and the amount of dust it manages to collect in mere days is crazy. Its freaking annoying.
