It says on their website not to directly put under running water as it damages the padding

Yes I agree. I was told to never submerge the whole brush in water and clean the brush by dipping the cleaning brush tips in lukewarm soapy water and then use it to brush the hairbrush through the bristles to dislodge the grease and residue.

Yes, I remember reading not to wet the brush, not even brushing wet hair. Has there been a problem with wetting it monthly like you do?

@greenkitty82 but then how to remove the soapy water? gotta rinse it.. their vid does not make sense, its like washing the dishes then putting it on dry rack for it to dry off with soap residue, that will get back in ur hair... Gross. I'm sure a quick warm water rinse won't hurt it .., I have been doing this for 8 months and no damage to my brush or bristles

I find that just running it under water doesn’t remove all the dust/ lint. I use a TINY bit of high-end shampoo and it lathers up like crazy depending how dirty it is 😂 It’s something I need to do more frequently, but I just used it again, clean. What a difference! The sebum distribution never worked so well! 😮

I feel like an IDIOT! I've got the cleaning brush in the shower. I started washing it when I wash my hair. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️😄 I have had my brush for 10 years. I thought it was shedding bristles due to age, but I started washing it when I wash my hair, and now the brstles...😄🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️
