I recommend getting the red soles done and putting the vibram soles its rubber and very durable makes your shoes last

Your shirt is wonderful! Perfect for a Californian, especially if your a fan as I am of the Beach Boys. Take a look at some old photos, there are a few publicity shots of them wearing the same shirt! With your shoes. I don´t think you get much rain where you are so you don´t have to worry about that, however, you do get dry heat. I would recommend a clear (neutral) liquid natural leather balm as it will feed the leather and prevent it drying out but it will not change the colour at all. I use it on my odd colour leathers and it works perfectly. Apply it with your finger tips very lightly going over the leather. It is perfect for soft calf or kid leather. And with leather of this quality I really recommend you have shoe trees in all your shoes. Even more important on thin leather soles as these have they also stop the banana look of the sole curving up with wear! Oh and lastly, you will hear a ton of shoe snobs rave about the very expensive Sapphire, it is good but in my experience not any better than any other quality shoe cream or polish. I wasted a small fortune on the stuff! I love that you wear your shoes. To me a sign of someone of real class and style wearing these is a worn red sole!

I 100% agree with everything about the sneakers … I try to wipe them down after each wear and keep them stuffed and so far all of mine are still in great condition! With my dress shoes I am one of “those people” that does the Zagg screen protectors … but I find I can get about 20+ wears without the protectors looking weird and basically it looks like there’s nothing on them at all from any distance. I hate those semi-white protectors I see sold because it ruins the whole look. I’m obsessed with that shiny red and want it there forever 😂 I have exactly one dress shoe that I wore to a wedding where there was nasty cobble stone and it finally did in my protector 😂 so I’m looking to either refinish the sole and re-Zagg or try out the shiny red rubber replacement. I look forward to your experience with a re sole as I decide what to do myself!
