You could also use vinegar

So - if you don't have acid - you can use acid instead... That made sense.

He said if you don’t have cell cleaner, then use acid. If you have a pool you should always have muriatic acid on hand.

I would recommend using latex gloves when working with acid , especially in a DIY video.
