True and not true. Because then you have to manage a lot more filters in SWOP, prioritizing monsters and etc. So this would allow you to keep more runes, but also makes runing monsters more complex. And honestly, all those runes I say to sell are runes you'd never miss or use anyway, unless you just don't farm :p

Yeah and the broken sets you run are ultimately hurting you, because those set bonuses matter a lot. Selling some more runes to make room for more set balance will give an upgrade :p

Not bad efficiency, that just means you need to raid more, most of those runes are not max-grinded :p FYI I'll be coming back to YT for streaming next week. Though I am going to try to balance out the stream schedule a bit more (i.e. stream less and for more reasonable durations) so I can get back to more regular videos. We'll see if I can hehe.

Heya Cesar, I actually strongly you SHOULD keep strong slot 4 CR runes, as they are often the "key" to making the best bruiser type monsters in my opinion. Res/acc is a bit more obscure and I have higher standards for them but I do keep and use both. With the CR runes, anything triple or quad grindable with high spd or def or hp or atk, all those options are good (so is high cd really). With the acc/res if needs high spd usually, and then it should also be triple/quad grindable. Accuracy runes are great for monsters that MUST have max accuracy and tend to work in cleave/snipe teams. Orion, Galleon, Clara, etc. Resistance runes have a bit more limited use, but are good for attack bar boosters, Hathor, among others.

Yeah you're correct J. Just a brain fart, in every game I played before SW enchanting was how you boost gear. Obviously I've played SW for ages :p But every now and then I slip into old terms hehe.

Before an FRR, take stock of all the monsters that are too weak to be used with your current stage of game. Make a list of them (Microsoft To-Do is great for this). Then de-rune them all. Now that you have those runes in inventory, run the optimizer on your best monsters to see if any upgrades are available. Then proceed with normal FRR, re-runing any of the de-runed monsters you want to use again. After FRR do a rune cleanup. You'll wind up with heavy monster upgrades and then can sell all the junk runes and wind up with rune inventory space too :) It's win-win, but super time consuming. (It's also what I did every single FRR before KZfaq took away all my time haha) No trick for powering up, it's what I hate most about the game at the moment. But what I've started to do is power-up runes while I am working. I turn the volume off, start an auto-run in Caiross and hit +15. Then come back and both are done. It's still annoying because I have to wait till I am working haha. But it's better. Also, and this is a huge waste of mana, I do the same thing with test inscriptions to +12 on any rune that has a "good chance" to be useful now, rather than going +3 at a time. But that's not something I'd do unless you've got enough mana to waste some.

@@XennialGamer Thanks for the detailed reply. I like the progression of de-runing, optimization, re-runing, then cleanup. I'll definitely try this next FRR (I usually skip/forget the de-runing and cleanup steps). I find myself doing the same thing as you for rolling runes. I have enough decent runes now that any new candidates typically have desirable substats in all spots ("good chance" as you call them). I typically just auto those to +12 to see how they roll. A bit of mana wasted, but at least I get a block of time where I am not watching the stupid power up animation.

Yeah I really struggle with the time element lately as well. I tried switching to farming other stuff so I wouldn't be so backlogged on runes, but eventually every inventory slot fills up LOL. I've been making an effort this week to get 'cleaned up'.

It's more about what the rune will look like after gems and grinds. And also about your stage of game. Generally you just want the rune to be better than the worst rune you have. If you're trying to jump from early game to late game in 1 go, odds are you'll slow down your progress. With that said - for a late-mid game or early-late game player (something like C3 arena/C1 or C2 RTA) I'd say a good target is around 75% efficiency with one "bad" stat that can be gemmed, or 80% with no stats to gem, for slots 1/3/5, maybe a bit lower on vio/will. And about 5% less for desired slots 2/4/6. This would give you around a 100% monster build once all are fully gemmed and grinded. But please remember that sometimes stats matter more than efficiency. A quad roll CR slot 3 rage rune with three low roll flats is still invaluable, even if the effciency is terrible. Same for high speed swift runes, etc.

@@XennialGamer Thanks xennial. Appreciate the reply and as always the informative videos. I just needed a basic metric to judge my runes, as I'm now starting to fill up on them every other day. I'm forming a rough idea of shooting for 80% minimum efficacy in every rune type that drops from the giant now, as I finally have a speed team for gb12. I am building a collection of legandaries now too, and I finally see why having so many reapps is a good thing. The potential is there even if takes a long time to roll them. A terrible legendary can become your best rune with enough reapping, and of course luck. I understand the thing to look for is a good innate stat, meaning something you *don't* actually want to be able to roll in the subs after reapping. Ideally a max roll in it too, *if* you can get that, usually something like accuracy. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong here though!

Honestly even if they raise the limit to 1000 we'd just fill right back up in a few weeks with B12s. We need Com2Us to add auto-power up so it's not so damn time consuming, and probably auto-sell based on quality, among other things, to make rune management easier

Fair point, this video is a little bit older. When I did the video I think B12s were out, but Com2Us wasn't blitzing us with quite so much free energy and events, so F2P players still had to focus on a slightly slower progression (obviously pay to play players were always able to progress a little faster)

I haven't streamed on Twitch in a while, I stream mostly on KZfaq. I charge $40/hr (xennialgaming.com/services) and rune cleanup is a lengthy process, I usually recommend against paying someone to do it because it's just too expensive and not worthwhile. If anything, I'd say schedule a 1- or 2-hour mentoring session where I can do a small bit of rune cleanup, give examples and advice, and answer your questions.

I cannot speak on behalf of Com2Us, but I think J said it perfectly. I've done dozens of videos displaying the optimizer, and several dedicated specifically for it. I may be a smaller channel, but I'm large enough that Com2Us knows I exist, and I've never had a problem :)

There's a free version, and a pro version for $15 (one-time fee). I have not spoken with 1 person who regretted buying the pro version, but the only difference is speed - pro is about 100 TIMES faster ;)

I heard there was a streamer out there willing to do rune cleanup for $50. All I can say is he's seriously nuts. Takes me a good 8 hours to clean up my rune inventory, and I charge $40/hr for account service - do the math LOL.

Tho I heard it was $60 *shrug*. Even so, that's insane. I'd be damn near tempted to pay him myself :p

So I only have the option to format for viewers on large devices (PC/Xbox/etc.) or Mobile devices. There's no way for me to scale to both through KZfaq in the video format I use, and the majority (70%+) watch videos on PC/TV so I use that video resolution. This new screen format, with the game elevated was intended to help offset that some and make more of the screen visible on mobile devices. Can you let me know what part of the video you couldn't see?

Bruh. Strongly disagree :p This is the much higher effort / harder work way. The lazy way is just sorting by spd or cr or whatever and selling the lowest runes - this way involves truly comparing them all against each other on a single screen ;)
