Thanks I drank most of the muriatuc acid and I brushed the pool steps …still cloudy

Another tip is to spread out the chemicals when adding to your pool. So if I need to raise alkalinity and PH. I add one and wait an hour to add the other. Never at the same time. Same with any other chemicals. Your best bet is taking a sample of your pool water to a pool supply store that offers testing cause it could be many things. But I would first balance your chemicals and then shock it. I’d also add flocculant and manually vacuum it the next day.

Buy a dolphin corded vacuum. Make sure it’s a fine filter option unit. That narrows it down. It acts as another filter cycling the thousands of gallons.

What if I have a cartridge filter and have done all these steps and still have a cloudy pool. PH lvls are in the pocket but free chlorine is over 5 ppm!!
