Clearing land with a mini excavator. Many different ways to drop a tree. This is the easiest way for me.

I bet this machine is a rental judging by the flippant way it's being operated. This is a good example of why I'd never rent a machine to anyone. Especially these two pilgrims.

Keep treating rentals this way and they are going to end up breaking something and theyll get an insurance claim then insurance rates just went up...

Very interesting approach! I bought a case 1085C wheeled excavator and learning how to use it! I guess I'm going to try doing it this way push it backward!

Gentleman, I have a 1/4 acre to clear with trees, brush & god only knows what else. In your opinion, do I rent a skid steer or mini excavator? It seems that the excavator rips everything out. Thanks in advance

I would get a bigger one if you plan on messing with rocks. My best advice is to rent when it comes to rocks. Very hard on the excavator

@@musiccityexcavation9845 blade in the back is useful any time you would be lifting other side of machine. As the blade farther back requires more force to lift machine. Blade in front will help with lifting tasks. Blade in back pushing, as well as more force to penetrate earth.

I'd prefer a bottle of wine. 😁 I always wondered what it would be like to get a buzz on while operating equipment. I used to be a highly trained competition roller skater and used to like to get a buzz on once in a while doing that. 😁 Heck, I even used to go exploring mountain trails at night in my four wheel drive pickup while getting a buzz on. I miss those days. I haven't had any alcohol in years. I can't wait till I retire later this year. 😁

I guess nobody told him to dig aroung the base of the tree first. It makes it a lot easier on the machine to push the tree over. Blowing a hydrualic line will slow him down.

I don`t see nothing wrong with the way he is operating it. The machine is tough and made to take abuse. Good job if you ask me.

10:50 the tree can fall on You any moment. You are showing something very wrong according to me, You are abusing the safety. Wait until one day a tree will hit Your machine, then You will understand, how heavy and dangerous it is.
