When measuring the crotch line how do u know if you are the right angle? This hasn’t been explained and is key to the whole video

Once the garment is made and steamed, this garment doesn’t have the pattern shape any more. Especially after it is worn and washed, your measurements are just references. You need to know how to make pant block pattern and apply those measurements.
