Thank you for the wonderful video! I am working with colored pencils now and appreciated your explanation of colors and blending. I hate it if I get shiny parts on my pictures. If I understood you correctly, I need to lightly layer and build up slowly.

Ms. Emmy I have a question after watching you teach drawing children for a while. I have an Albino great granddaughter who I would like to learn to paint a picture for her. How does one go about painting depth and dimension for this picture?

It’s the same for every drawing you will need to create the midtones, shadows and highlights. Study your reference photo and see which colors you see and look at where the light is coming from on the opposite side will be the shadows
