Thanks man sounds well explained I had night mare digging all iron. I used Garrett at pro b4 and it was a silver magnets so hopefully by listening to u I will start to benefit more on tomorrow's hunt I felt annoyed with machine but it's probably me lol.my whites probe is the best long range speeds up pinpointing thanks for taking time to we'll explain this problem.🤴🏼.

Great video, very informative. if you get time will you do one that explains the faint deep signals that are possibly good targets. i dont seem to have too much of a problem with iron, i do dig it occassionaly, and when i do its either a huge peice or a horse shoe or something circular which i think can trick anybody. Its the weak/deep/faint signals that are possibly good targets where im struggling. i also struggling with whats classed as mineralised soil or iron infested. Ive been detecting for almost 2 years and had the nox for 18 months. I only realy get chance to go out every other week as i live in Greater Manchester and the club i dig with are based in Doncaster. that and lockdown i havent got that many hours in with the Nox. thank you again.

Thank you for taking the time to comment on my videos davd. yes the deeper small faint targets can sometimes sound or turn to a iron signal but sometimes you dig them and it turns out to be a hammerd coin .and sometimes a one way signal as way if you switch to a single frequency say 10 and check ✔ this will help but you really have to digg them iffy singles coss you just never know 😉 and thank-you for watching my channel

Seems straightforward….I do like the tones on this machine. Kind on the ears I think. My Racer sometimes likes deep iron too. It can be a pain

It can at times mate but it's the hotrock reduction that's matters to me the most you just don't digg any with the nox

Great video and tips! I’m always worried that when I am hearing the tone break with the iron it is possibly a good target in the same hole with a piece of iron. Is this possible to make that tone break for a ferrous and non ferrous target in the same hole? Thanks!
@minelabnortherndetexpert1411
@minelabnortherndetexpert1411 3 жыл бұрын
Yes it is possible that can happen always best to dig it out if in doubt you can move the tonne brake to sute your detecting i have mine on 5 tonne and set it on a range 7 to 15 id numbers and give them a higher tonne to help find the smaller hammerd coins .in feild mode 1 and 2 are descrim out you could try and discrim out 3 or even 4 to make it better with them more tricky signals

@@minelabnortherndetexpert1411 thanks! I had just been curious because I just got the machine (running iron bias 1) and I was getting some iffy signals. (Hitting a 22-25 occasionally with some iron mixed in). When I would dig those targets, there would never be a non ferrous target. It was always iron like a nail or bolt. Not sure why the nox likes iron so much and false with it 🤷‍♂️. I’d say it’s one of its cons, but it has so few cons which makes it an amazing machine
@minelabnortherndetexpert1411
@minelabnortherndetexpert1411 3 жыл бұрын
I run iron bias 2 most of the time witch just takes the edge of it a bit .I have found with to much iron bias small deep targets can sound ironie and scratchy at times .I just think the machines are that sensitive you will dig a bit of iron from time to time but they make up for it on them small hammerd coins

I find that iron is often off center in the hole ,never the case for non ferrous,Also if I break the soil and the signal changes then it’s an iron halo .That said I still expect to dig some iron rather than miss borderline good targets .
@minelabnortherndetexpert1411
@minelabnortherndetexpert1411 2 жыл бұрын
Yes Andrew correct aways best just to dig it out if in doubt. It is a great machine .it's the hotrock factor that does it for me know other brand can do that 👍👍

I just don't get how people have a problem digging iron with the nox I hardly ever dig iron and I have my iron bias on zero, keep telling people to switch to 50 tones and then they will never have a problem with iron once you learn it, but no one listens 🤷‍♂️ oh and allways have the iron audio on 👍
