I knew about the script part but one thing you just taught me was the closing of all other documents whilst keeping the working file open. Very useful tip, many thanks Colin 👍.

Using scripts is such a time saver. I don't remember exactly how but I made scripts out of common work flow things such as profile, image size, save into a different folder and closing the file afterwords. It was great. Once the scripts were established I could also toggle on and off certain scripts within the main script such as different destinations for the saved file or different sizes depending (depending on whether the image were to be used for web or for print for instance). 5 steps compressed into one key stroke. Highly recommend it.

Love it! Shift W to close tabs is fairly fast but not as fast as the method you showed in this video!

Total awesomeness right here in one KZfaq video! Thank you so much! I don't use PS a lot, but I do some 3D design and print, and I have a model train layout (Believe it or not, all of those things complement one another very well!), and when I DO use PS, I want it to do what I want and get back to work, and this right here in this box will let me do that, at least with adding elements to create one. And next time I need PS, I will be looking for you! Once again, thank you more than words!

Colin is this a feature of PS 2021? I use the 2020 and when the dialog box 'must be saved before merge' open I hit ok and the files don't appear there :( But, I can browse them. So, maybe, I start by doing that before I open a bunch of files... I hope you understand my poor English

Another great tip! Do you have any experience removing highlights from wet animal fur? I encounter this mainly with animals that frequent water, e.g. beavers, muskrats, mink, otters, etc.

Maybe you know this already, but you can script (I think just about any) corrections to an image. I'm not sure if it's possible to run the script simultaneously on all the images at the same time, but compressing common work flow into scripts activated with just one key stroke saves a lot of time. I don't remember well enough for me to explain the process of making scripts but I'm sure you can find easily accessible information on how to create scripts on the web. Hope my comment was of help. Thank a lot! I enjoy your teaching style a lot. This may nit be the right forum to ask a PS question but here it is: I recently started working on the supersizing function and downloaded Bridge. Shortly after, I could no longer open PS. Uninstalled and re-installed it with no success. I then uninstalled both Bridge, restarted my machine and installed PS again but it continues to crash and says it needs to close. Would anyone have any ideas on how to correct it? TIA.

Great, thanks! Everyone on YT is showing you how to do this. However, I specificlly need to know to merge two similar portrait files so that I can capture the smiles and opened eyes. Then merge into one useable photo. Does that make sense? Do you know how to do this?

How do I merge psd files? Or add more PNG files to the already merged file. I tried using the same method and I’m not getting the same result. This was awesome btw! Thank you

Hi Colin, I have a huge issue with gifs and photoshop. There is a huge amount of replies saying that file / import / video frame to layers work or drag and drop etc. but none of those works cuz the gif is imported as a simple smart object layer. I found out that if you click that gif and set it as open with PS it opens in PS as a gif in a new tab which is great, now the real question is how can I pass that gif to the project I am doing without losing its "gif properties" if that makes any sense

Hi, do you know how to do the same things with smart objects? I'd like to mantain my original smart objects created in Camera Raw, all stacked in the same document but it seems to be impossible..
